As a dedicated clinical social worker, I bring over 15 years of experience in providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families facing various challenges. My expertise includes perinatal/postpartum mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma, allowing me to effectively address a range of emotional and psychological issues. I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, I continually strive to enhance my skills and stay informed about the latest developments in the field. As a perinatal mental health specialist, I value attachment and approach my work through this lens. In therapy, I utilize an eclectic approach to treatment that is tailored to the needs of my clients. My approach to supporting clients in their wellness journey utilizes elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Sensorimotor techniques and supportive psychotherapy techniques, as well as structured interventions including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to manage OCD.
